NIH ELSI 1997 Awards

The following table has been taken from NIH files. It gives the overall expenditure for the NIH Human Genome Project. ELSI funding should be approximately 3%-5% of the total funding. This year 14 projects were funded. The total of ELSI funding for the 13 known projects is $2,739,262, about 2% of the total $133,740,306. This does not include the 1 projects HG70003 for which the funding amount is yet to be determined.
