NIH ELSI 1994 Awards

The following table has been taken from NIH files. It gives the overall expenditure for the NIH Human Genome Project. ELSI funding should be approximately 3%-5% of the total funding. This year 29 projects were funded. The total of the 25 known ELSI funded projects is $4,490,486, about 4.7% of the total $96,036,414. This does not include the 4 projects HG40013, DC03772, CA79654 and HG01846 for which the funding levels have yet to be determined.
